Server Interface

After starting ImPRO server, the right display appears. The window is partitioned. The left frame shows process information in XML DataBase. The information are structured in the hierarchy of plant-system-component.

The right frame shows all plant procedures which are classified in oder to be searched effectively, and shows borrowing status of procedures. If RO borrows (=executes) SGTR procedure, its checkbox is toggled.

Even though ImPROs provides capabilty of reorganizing suitable crew for a specific process, the change of crew organization has nothing to do with the procedure files.

While executing procedures, users need not refer to this display. Instead system manager would use this to view the plant database, organize crew team, and set a common password for the crewmembers.

Procedure files should be written based on the process itself rather than crew organization. The tasks, however, can be dynamically distributed to crew members according to their competence during procedure execution.

Attribute window shows details of each plant node. Each node represents an actual device. Despite that the number of attributes varies from device to device, XML Database is powerful enough to represent all these kinds devices. Real process values are updated by external programs.
